Time
I had plans to create a second blog for my mission journals and experiences, but Blogger, in all their wisdom, decided that my blog was spam and has locked it pending review. So, the mission stuff will have to wait...
Yesterday was a good day for me. I got to go to the Louisville Temple with some of the members of my home ward. It was the first time I'd been to the Louisville Temple in a long time - almost 4 years, I think. We did names that one of the members had prepared for us. That's something I wanna get working on - preparing and submitting some of our family's names for temple work. Since I have PLENTY of time right now, I just might work on it to keep busy. I need a break from the whole apartment hunt thing anyway.
I'm also going to the temple again tomorrow, but this time with the YSA for baptisms. I'll be driving down there, so I'll need to be sure to get enough sleep tonight. I don't wanna run us off the road...
Last night, I also made my first appearance at a Scout meeting. It was weird - I only knew a small handful of the Scouts. Most of the leaders were the same, but I'll definitely need to get to know a lot of people. Since I plan on going down to Ransburg with them for at least part of the week this summer, I'd like to get to know them before then so I can better help the troop.
Well, I think that's about it for now. As soon as I can get the mission blog up and running, I'll let you know, and I'll post a link for it on here as well.
Until next time,
~David~
Current Media Experience: I was watching "The DaVinci Code", but I paused it for now.
Trenton R. Foust Memorial Quote of the Day: "Comment s'appelle-t-il?" "Comme ci, comme ça." - Mme Thompson and one of her middle school French students, when I walked in to her French class today. (Translation: "What's his name?" "So-so.")
