Good Night and Good Luck

Well everyone, this is it...

The last post (posted by me, at least)...

Here goes...

The past couple of days have been incredible! It all started Mondy with our flights. Those went well, even though they were pretty bumpy. The goodbyes at the airport were pretty intense... I guess I didn't really understand how it would feel to know that it would be the last time I'd see my dad and brother for 2 years. Tomorrow's gonna be bad too b/c it'll be the last time I see my mom and Elizabeth.

Anyway we've had tons of fun here in Salt Lake City last night and today (today = Tuesday). Today was our running around and playing tourist day. We went to ZCMI, Temple Square, and the Gateway Plaza or whatever it's called. Also, while we were out, we saw the Joseph Smith movie playing at the Legacy Theatre. That was one of the most powerful films I've seen in my life. It really helped to strengthen my testimony of the restoration and of Joseph Smith. I guess being able to see it made it even more real to me. I kept thinking during the movie about how I'm gonna be telling people in Montreal that I know the events portrayed in that film actually happened. It was a very spiritual experience for me.

As for tonight, it was great too! We went to PF Chang's China Bistro (after walking forever in the cold to find it LOL) and had one of the best Chinese dinners I've had in my life. The meal was served "family style" and the portions were huge! Anyway, I might post some pics of it later but IDK.

Well, I've got to go. I've gotta check on the laundry we've got washing to do, and I only paid for 15 minutes on this hotel computer. I'll see y'all in 2 years!!!

Until next time,

~David~
