One last time

Tonight was my farewell party, and I had a much bigger turnout than I expected. While I would have liked to see more than just one of my camp friends, I'm still satisfied by the turnout. I had a great time, even if I was tired by the end of it. Also, I still don't think it's fully set in that I won't see people for 2 years... It is starting to get to me, but I"m sure it won't fully sink in until sometime later in the week.

Anyway, before my party today, I went to B-dubs with Ben Frost. I don't know about him, but I definitely had a great time! Oh, and the waitress kept flirting with us like the whole time. Ben said she was flirting with me, but I don't know... Anyway Ben knows what I'm going through right now with the whole saying goodbye thing because he said once he goes up to West Point he won't be back home for a very long time. So I wish him luck with his future, just as he wished me luck with mine.

Well I have less than a day and a half until I head out to Utah to begin my mission... I'll probably post my final entry sometime Sunday night or Monday night. After that, everything posted on here for the next 2 years will be written by me but posted by my mom.

Good night world!

Until next time,

~David~

Trenton R. Foust Memorial Quote of the Day: "We're with the Super Duper Society of Jesus!" - Ben Frost, telling me I should wear my red hat and cape while tracting on my misson, after I told him that Montreal was the gay pride capital of Canada. It was the funniest thing I've heard in a while!
