A Christmas survey
1. Hot Chocolate or apple cider? Hot Chocolate
2. Turkey or Ham? Turkey
3. Do you get a Fake or Real you cut it yourself Christmas tree? Fake... we bought real trees when the troop sold them, but they're just too messy and inconvenient
4. Decorations on the outside of your house? sometimes we put lights up outside
5. Snowball fights or sledding? sledding
6. Do you like hanging around the fireplace because it's warm? not really... our fireplace doesn't work (it's gas)
7. Do you enjoy going downtown shopping? downtown where?
8. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night
9. How do you feel about Christmas movies? As long as they're not all mushy, they're fine. Especially the Smash Holiday Classic, JINGLE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
10. When is it too early to start listening to Christmas music? Anytime before the day after Thanksgiving, and then it's only ok in small amounts until December 1.
11. Stockings before or after presents? During
12. Carolers, do you or do you not watch and listen to them? never really had any around our house, but I've gone "band caroling" with some friends.
13. Go to someone else's house or they come to you? Go to someone else's house
14. Do you read the Christmas Story? If so when? Sometimes... usually in church though
15. What do you do after presents and dinner? Just hang out, watch Christmas movies (either movies we got for Christmas or actual Christmas-themed ones), and enjoy the holiday.
16. What is your favorite holiday smell? baking food during the big meal days!
17. Ice skating or walking around the mall? walking around the mall, only because I've never been skating.
18. Favorite Christmas memory? We used to always film us opening our gifts... those were funny to watch!
19. Favorite Part about winter? Driving around and looking at the Christmas decorations, especially when there's snow!
20.Favorite Christmas decor? lights
21.Lights...colored or clear? colored - especially blue!
22. What is the best Christmas gift you ever received? hmm... I'm gonna go for the not-so-materialistic answer and say the love of my family :-D
23. What is your favorite Christmas tradition in your family? Going to the Book Loft in Columbus, Ohio, and then visiting family over in Ohio.
