This will have to do

OK I know I've been promising a real post for some time now, but I've just been so flippin' busy with all my school crap that this is the first time I've been able to do anything.

Really the only thing I want to write about is this stupid diet I've been on for the past 3 weeks. It's for some girl's Master's thesis on the effects of low-carb diets. Low carb... that means no potatoes, pasta, bread, or fruit. Basically all I can eat is meat and cheese and eggs. And needless to say it's very annoying! Of course, BSU doesn't care if people eat healthy or not, so there's like nothing on campus that I can eat, so basically I have to buy my own stuff and my meal plan's going to waste. LOL as I write this there's a commercial on how important complex carbs are (it's for Idaho potatoes). Anyway the only good things about this diet are that I lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks, and that I only have 1 more week left!

As for school, I've got all kinds of crap due in the next couple of weeks. Just like in high school, instructors at BSU see how much crap they can pile on students in the last couple weeks of the semester. I have 3 group projects, 2 papers and probably some more things due all in the next 2 weeks. It's really stupid. The only thing that's keeping me from just saying "screw it" and not doing anything is the fact that I've got to get a 3.0 to keep my scholarship.

Another thing that's good: it's almost time for camp to start! The weekend of May 14th is Staff Weekend, when we set up as much of camp as we can in the weekend. Camp actually starts with staff week on May 28th, or whatever day around there is a Sunday. I don't know what goes on during that week since I've never been during that week before. Anyway, I'm just ready to be done with school and be doing something that doesn't make me want to shoot my face off. (NOTE: THAT LAST COMMENT DOES NOT, I REPEAT, DOES NOT MEAN I WANT TO KILL MYSELF!)

Oh, and last night around 1 AM, I finally beat the Special Cup in Mario Kart Doble Dash. My roommate and I have been trying to do that for weeks. I finally got it, tying for first @ 34 points!

Anyway I guess that's pretty much all that's been going on in my life recently

Until next time,

How old is Allbright's son? Because the camp I'm working at is a Boy Scout Camp for boys ages 11-17.

And as for the slideshow, I'm pretty busy for a while, so just let me know when you'd like for me to come help and I'll try to squeeze you into my busy schedule.

OMG he is going to the camp I'm working at this summer. It's Ransburg, BTW. And since his son is a new Scout, I'll probably be working with him b/c the area I'm working in is for the first and second year scouts. Do you know if Allbright himself is gonna be there?
