End of the year wrap-up...
...and thoughts for the future.
First off, I just thought I'd say that I did manage to work before going to Ohio. I worked on Christmas Eve for about 6 hours. That was fun, let me tell you.
Next, as far as Christmas itself, it was ok. We didn't have a tree or anything, but I guess I'm at least partially to blame for that. Oh well. I did get some nice stuff, most of it for my dorm room. I can't wait to move in!
The trip to Ohio was ok, but it didn't last long enough. We were only there for about a day. While we were gone, we stopped at The Book Loft in Columbus and I got 3 new Star Trek books, a poster for my dorm, and Bush in a Box for my desk. Oh baby! Aside from staying with family, we also went to the Rubbermaid store in Wooster and I got some more stuff for my dorm room. I'm basically set to go. I still need a few things, most importantly a refrigerator, but it's nothing that can't be picked up from Wal*Mart.
Speaking of Wal*Mart, I need to restart my job quest. That's my task for Monday and Tuesday.
As for thoughts/goals for the upcoming weeks and months, the primary goal I have (NOT a resolution, but a goal, which means it should actually be obtainable) is to get my GPA up to at least a 3.0 (hopefully higher) so that I can get my scholarship back. And I'll try not to let stuff get to me as much... That's been a real problem the past couple of months.
Well I guess that's all I can think of for this post.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
