Gobble Gobble Gobble?
Happy Thanksgiving, my loyal readers!
I'm not doing much today, mostly b/c we didn't get the turkey until late last night. We're gonna have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow night, after our shopping spree. That's right, my family is going out and braving the swarms of humanity looking for the best deals on whatever corporate America wants to sell us. We did it last year and it was a lot of fun. I'm actually looking forward to it.
One big issue I'm having right now is a total lack of money. My checking account has less money in it than my change bucket. With credit card payments, gas money, food, computer payments, etc., I have a lot more bills than I do funds. I'm going to be getting a loan sometime soon, but for right now I have to rely on my parents. Or McDonald's. Neither option is very comforting. If I borrow money from my parents, I know I should pay them back (even if they might say I don't have to). If I work @ McDonald's I want to dive head-first into the fry vats. OK so it's not that bad, but it's still not too pretty. I did work Tuesday for the first time in like a month or so. I learned how to make the McRib sandwich. Nasty little things to make, but they do taste good. That's the evil snare of McDonald's.
Oh, and just like Sunny, I'm now accepting donations in the form of cash, check, or PayPal.
That's all for now!
David.
Listening to: My dad popping popcorn.
Weather: Cold and boring. It did thunderstorm/snow last night, but I think it's done for the week.
